Meet crazy

It's official. I'm crazy.

At bootcamp, the instructor told us that they had added another class during the week because it was so popular. She went on to say that to get the full effects of bootcamp, you should really go more than once a week. She encouraged us to sign up for the second class. Especially because it was a good deal compared to all the other bootcamps in town.

So I've been thinking about it. And thinking about it. And thinking some more. Then I checked the availability for the second class and saw they still had spots left. Then I thought about it some more. Then I asked my husband if he would be interested in going with me if I signed up for a second one. After a lengthy discussion that mostly consisted of me saying "Are you sure you want to go?", he said yes, he was up for trying it. His doctor has been getting after him for not exercising and bootcamp sounded "mostly" fun.

I gave him one last chance and then signed us both up. That's right. I'm going to bootcamp twice a week now and I somehow convinced my husband to go once a week. The second class starts tonight. I've got to get my crazy bum in gear and find mats for both of us now!

Which bootcamp are you doing? I've been thinking about trying one.

The Bootcamp I go to is offered through my rec centre, so it's pretty local. If you're wanting to try one out in your city, I'd recommend googling for it; oftentimes these companies have websites. Once you've found one, you can always look around for independent reviews or ask for opinions on fitness boards.

If you've always wanted to try one, I say, go for it! I did, and I'm loving it. I didn't think it was possible to have fun and get fit at the same time :)
